Remodel recessed lighting – To do this, let’s start with apply all protective equipment. Put drop cloths in the room where you need to work. Locate your loft streams with a stud finder. You should install your light along the length of one or two loft streams, rather than across many of them. Mark openings for your recessed light in the ceiling at your preferred distance. Cut into openings with a drywall knife. Turn off the power to the room where you are working. Unplug the power cord and the wall socket with a screwdriver. Pull the shop out of the electric box in the wall. Loosen wires from the outlet; remember where each color-coded wire goes.

Use a screwdriver to disconnect the wires for remodel recessed lighting if necessary. Remove the electric field of curious thing with a small copper. Cut an opening for a new switch box, about 48 inches above the store you just removed. Mark space with a pen or pencil using a new remodel switch box as a template. Cut out the area box with a drywall knife. Cut out the drywall where the ceiling and wall meet, directly above the switch hole you just made. Cut out corner bumped behind plasterboard with a chisel and hammer. Make cut about 1/2 inch deep. This allows your wires to go from inside the wall, the ceiling corner and into the ceiling.

Seventh, drive it an electric fish tape (wire puller) from one end of the ceiling light holes to the other. Insert the fish band inside the first light hole; feed it to the next and so on until you reach the last light fitting hole. Eight, tape 12-2 ROMEX wire to the end of the fish tape, using electrical tape. Pull the cable from one end of the recessed light holes to the other. Leave about 12 inches of wire hanging out of the last light fitting hole. Disconnect the ROMEX wire with a wire cutter. Repeat steps 7 and 8, but run fish tape and a length of ROMEX wire from the last remodel recessed lighting hole down to the wall switch hole. Then do the same with a length of wire down to the wall socket.
